So....you want pictures...

Allie slept in our bed with us last night. All night. And not peacefully either.

I noticed that she seemed to have a bit of a stuffy nose on Saturday, which continued on into Sunday. Her nose wasn't running, just stuffy, and she was coughing here and there like she did during our Disney vacation. No fever. Eating normal. Playing normal.

About an hour and a half after the girls went to sleep last night (and just as Michelle was leaving for her one-on-one date with What's His Face), I heard an odd noise. Turns out that it was Allie, in her bed, half asleep, whining. She wouldn't tell me what was wrong, wouldn't settle down even with me in the bed and wouldn't fully wake up. Her eyes rolled back into her head a few times and she sounded like she had the croup. If you want to freak me out, that's the way to do it.

It took me more than a half hour to settle her down and get her back to sleep. I ran downstairs to shut down my Mac (oh, I love saying that now) and intended to get ready for bed and then just sleep with her as I was a bit concerned. She woke up again two minutes after I left and the only way to calm her down so that I could get ready for bed was to bring her in our bed.

She must have rolled around for about four hours. When she woke up this morning, she was not in a good mood. I tried to cuddle with her and she got mad at me. After she warmed up a bit, I told her that I thought she should stay home from school because she was sick. She did not like that at all. "Stop talking. I'm not sick."

I'm not happy that she's sick again. If she could blow her nose, it would probably help the situation. I'm not too concerned about her having slept with us as she never asked to sleep with us. We made that decision.

Okay, now it's time for pictures. I took these last night with my 85mm, which I love, by the way.

That's Allie. And no, the girls don't have to wear glasses. Those are my old, old ones. Allie told me that I have a big head when she looks through them.

I think little kids look so cute with glasses on. Em was a good model. These pictures would have made a cute storyboard. If I had time for things like that.

Anna wouldn't participate.

Allie and Em have been drawing people for awhile now. I've been asking all three of them to draw a picture of our family. Finally last night, Emmy did.

See that person who is disproportionately larger than everyone else. According to Em, that is supposed to be me.

Very cute!!!

You might look into MCP Blog it Boards which I've recently been playing with. I can create a story board and put it on the blog way faster than it takes me to put multiple photos on my blog. I'm always looking for ways to get it done quick! :-) Only problem is when I turn our blog into a book, multiple pictures share the same space as a single picture... so I might have to drop the story boards since the pics are soooo small.

Hope Allie is better soon.

I have read that children draw things that are important to them
disproportionately large. I guess you know where you stand with your little ones! ;)

I love Rikki's explanation for the size! Does it apply to photographs, because I'd like to explain away the extra baby weight that won't go away...

Adorable photos. Hope that Allie feels better soon.

So darn adorable!

I have to commend you on triplets! WOW! You are an inspiration. What fun!! I have always dreamed of having multiples. They have always fascinated me since I was a child.
