Get together!

A few weekends ago, Rich and I hosted a gathering of my high school friends and their families. Unfortunately, not everyone could attend so it was a smaller group than we originally anticipated. But that didn't stop us from having fun.

Tina's girls and my girls....

Tina's girls are so sweet and so polite. (I think Tina should write a parenting blog!)

nov5b

Kristin's boys got to hang out with all the girls.

I just love Anna's expression in this one.

I was foiled by the f stop again! When someone yells, "Sarah! Quick! Camera!" I run and apparently don't check my settings. So I kind of ruined this potentially awesome photo by shooting too wide. You can see how the focus on the girls in the back is too soft.

Ring Around the Rosie!

And I love this picture of the kids together. One of Kristin's boys was sleeping so he missed out on the fun.

I really am lucky to have such good friends. We have all been friends since junior high school and that was a LONG time ago!

Super cute! My best friends and I get together every year at Christmas... I can only imagine how it will be once we ALL have kids.

Looks like you guys had a great time!!

I didn't get to post/comment the other night, but I think your pictures are great. I know you are your biggest critic, but really they look great! I don't venture beyond auto very often.... :)

Loved the photos, Sarah!!! Thank you for taking the time to post them. And loved the plug for a parenting blog .. LOL!! I'll keep that in mind, but appreciate the compliment. It's hard to believe that Allegra is now older then we were when we became friends. Amazing how quickly time passes. We should do this again soon!

I love that last group picture. those older girls seemed to be really good with the younger kids.

You really do have skills, you know - that ring around the rosie pic is right out of a catalog, just amazing! All the kids look so happy together.
