Because it's Friday.

A few cute things.

* The girls are finally starting to pedal. It was difficult before because they are so short, they couldn't reach the pedals! Here's Allie helping Em.

* Grammy called me the other day to say that cousin Jen was looking after the girls while Grammy ran errands and that Jen had brought over The Lion King for the girls to watch. When I arrived home from work, I asked the girls what they had been doing that day. They told me that Jen had brought Burger King. I asked if they had any of her Burger King and they responded with yes.

Allie kept saying, "The Burger King bideo," and I finally figured out that she was referring to The Lion King dvd. So tonight I was looking at a Disney book with Allie and Em and we came across a picture of a small lion with a big lion from The Lion King. (Sorry, I don't remember names.) Allie and Em told me that the big lion is 'Burger King' and the little lion is 'Lion King.'

* Anna did not want Rich to read to her the other night due to severe Mommy attachment. This is what she said to Rich - "Maybe you could read a book to yourself."

* All three of the girls were awake this morning as I was trying to get ready for work. They started off on my bed watching television and then quickly moved to playing in their rooms and my room. Anna brought in a teddy bear and had it sitting on the love seat in my bedroom. I heard the girls say, "Mommy will want to take a picture of that."

I came out of the bathroom and they showed me the teddy bear. Allie kept saying, "Where's your camera? Where's your camera?" Ah, I have taught them well.

I'm sure Rich enjoyed being able to read he hasn't already read 5,000 times.

I love the line of thinking that Daddy could read to himself...that exemplifies the sweet and pure perspective of childhood! :)

Yes the best part of Anna's "read to yourself comment" was the seriousness with which she said it while directing me into her bedroom with her finegr!

Hi, cute little girls and love your photos. Change their outfits, and some of those photos could look like Little House on the Prairie, hehe!
