Sprinkler - Part II

Ah, yes, the remainder of our day of fun (and crying) with the sprinkler.

So remember how I noted in yesterday's post that Allie was upset that she had been sprayed in the face. Look at how sad her little face is in this picture.

It took her a long time to recover. I thought it was so sad when she went over to the other side of the yard to swing by herself.

My heart just about melted when Em went over to push her. And yes, they were being nice to each other.

The sprinkler finally became fun once it was turned off. And Allie started laughing again.

And in case you are wondering, that is inexpensive thick, plastic fencing strewn across our yard to make a play area for the girls. Our yard is a good size and even with the real fence, it can be a bit difficult to keep up with girls. We purchased this fencing in an attempt to section off part of the yard as a play area. For the most part, it works. They could get over/under/through it in about two minutes if they really put forth any effort but so far, no serious escape attempts have been made.

And I want to thank those who comment/commented on my photos. I really do appreciate your comments. I would love to be a better photographer but my time is so limited now. I don't even have time/energy to figure out editing - straight out of the camera is usually what you see.

I definitely said "awww" at those first few pictures!

More great photos! There is a riot of color with the play equipment, the swimsuits, the hose, and the grass (and as usual the most important thing is the subjects!) Do you shoot a lot of pictures, and in rapid succession? I can do that at home, but I feel self-conscious doing that around other people. I think I need to get over that if I want to improve . . .

I love the sprinkler. Where did you get it? I would love to get one for my little girl for next summer. Your little ones are so cute and your photography is great. Thanks for all the great pictures and ideas too!

Hi Jan - Yes, I do take a lot of pictures and sometimes in rapid succession. With toddlers, you never know what you are going to get!
