(I took at least 10 photos of the girls either looking for trick or treaters or handing out candy and there is a photo bomb in every single one.)

Halloween for these 9 year olds was simple but they still had the greatest time.  Isn't that how life should be?  Rich and I try to follow the school of basic is best whenever possible.  That's how we were raised and we had happy childhoods.  The girls insisted on creating their own costumes this year, which they have done in the past.  We even went to a Halloween store just in case, and they weren't interested.

Monday has to be the worst day of the week for Halloween!  Right?  Emily's dance class was moved to an earlier time so as not to interfere with trick or treating and none of the girls had homework.  Thankfully, around here, trick or treating ends on the early side.  By 7:20 or so, our street was empty and neighbors were shutting off lights.  I seriously think the girls enjoy handing out candy just as much as trick or treating for themselves.

Now we move on to Thanksgiving!
