From the weekend + sisters

I simply cannot put this book down.  I've read three highly recommended books since my last books post and now this one, the classic page turner.  The first chapter pulls you in and you'll wish you could curl up in a comfy chair for the remainder of the day to finish it.

So what are these highly recommended books?

(Please excuse my lack of technical ability, which is causing the odd spacing.)

This past weekend, I noticed that the leaves on the very top of the trees out front are entering the fall transformation stage.  I've been trying to ignore the yellows and reds that keep popping up around us.

The kid who rarely grants me permission to photograph her

These next ones are from a few weeks ago.  It was my back-up plan in case the first day of school photos didn't work out.

People on Porches.  I feel that this would be a good photo project or series or something.  People on the porches of their homes.  I'm sure someone's already done it though.

I need to edit my remaining Cape photos before the world turns all pumpkin and spice and everything nice.

Adorable fall photos! Even if someone has already done a "people on porches "photo series, I think it's a great idea!

Your girls are adorable! I love Chimamanda Ngozi Adichi. Check out her Ted Talk on The Danger of a Single Story. It's under 20 minutes and really great.
