We spent the better part of this past week in Michigan visiting family, returning home late Friday after an overnight pit stop at Niagara Falls. Yes, the Canadian side. With these photos, I'm caught up with random summer edits. The best part of having a pool is that we now have two self-taught swimmers. We tried lessons at the Y years ago and honestly, it felt like a huge waste of $ as we saw zero progress. The two that are swimming can dive down to the bottom to retrieve pool toys so I'd say we've off to a good start.
Apparently, goggle-wearing is tough.
This is her Seriously, Mom face. I made that maxi skirt for her for the Fourth. Hello Kitty as the Statue of Liberty.
See how huge that Rose of Sharon is? My mamaw gave us a piece of hers when we were in Michigan about 10 years ago. After surviving the 14 hour car ride back to Massachusetts, it was planted and thrived at our first house. We ended up transplanting a piece of it here when we moved.

I love Rose of Sharon. Yours is beautiful! hope you had fun here in Michigan.
It is so easy to tell how much spunk and personality the girls have by just looking at your photos of them! They are just adorable. You guys seem to be having a great summer!
