Beach Visit - Dennis, MA - Cape Cod

This past summer, we vowed to visit a new beach on the Cape before the season's end.  Corporation Beach in Dennis kept popping up as a good option, especially for those like us with little ones.  We managed to squeeze in that outing over Labor Day weekend.  It ended up being a really nice beach with a calm surf.  At low tide, there are plenty of places to explore in the tide pools.  The negatives include a very small parking lot and at high tide, not much beach.  We arrived fairly early in the morning so we were able to easily find a parking spot and the tide was low, so the beach was practically empty.  More positives include clean bathrooms and a delicious food stand.  Seriously, our lunch was one of the tastiest I've had on the Cape.  The chowder was delicious.  I'm thrilled that the girls eat chowder (or chowda, as we call it) and fish now.

Corporation was one of our favorite beaches to visit when I was a kid! The tidal pools are fantastic.

Lesley - that's too funny b/c Emily usually looks the most like Rich.

Christi - we really liked it and will most likely return

Thanks, Sadia.

Wendy - I put my big toe in and that was enough for me. It was freezing - which is somewhat normal for our beaches. Plus, we had an unusually cool summer. But they went in. There were quite a few people in the water.
