For our second day, which was our first full day in NH, we headed up to Santa's Village after breakfast at our hotel. We stayed at the White Mountain Hotel again this year. We've found it to be quieter than other hotels, mainly because it's not on the main drag and doesn't cater to kids. There's a kid's menu in the dining hall and a decent sized pool - that's all we really need for the kids.
Anna's checklist
I always hope for cloud cover when I take this picture. It's facing the worst possible direction in relation to the sun.
The ferris wheel freaks me out a bit but I always ride it for the views.
Not pictured is the time spent at the little water park within Santa's Village. That place was insanely busy and almost threw me into a panic attack because I had trouble keeping track of the girls, who were great and stayed together and in the same area. So there I was standing under the burning sun, on the edge of insanity, waiting to lose sight of them.
And then it stormed. We ducked into a gift shop while a thunderstorm moved in and then left the park when the rain let up. We ran into torrential downpours on the drive back to North Conway and the girls were bummed out because they couldn't go swimming at the hotel that night.
A slightly crazy looking, waiting at the gas station selfie. (lol at Allie's shoe)
