Aunt Fuzzy and Spring

The girls had been keeping an eye on the calendar and last Thursday, YAY, it was the first day of spring.  Or so they thought.  Apparently, to a six year old, once the calendar says that it's spring, it's spring and that means one can wear spring-type clothing.  They all pulled their fall/spring jackets out and attempted to wear those to school on Friday.  Yeah, no can do.  Never mind the fact that those things are size 4T and need to go bye-bye pretty soon.  So here are the compromises we've made over the last four days:
  • You can wear a short-sleeved t-shirt to school only if you wear a hoodie with it.
  • If you don't want to wear your winter coat, you can wear a vest as long as you layer it with a fleece.
Another storm with "blizzard-like" conditions is forecasted to roll through here in the next day or two.  YAY for spring!!

So who is Aunt Fuzzy?  That's the name Allie gave to these fuzzy little dress jacket-things I bought for the girls to wear with their Christmas outfits.  I love when the girls wear them because they look so grown up and sophisticated.  Anna wore hers to her cousin's birthday party Sunday.

Distracted.  I don't think she realized I was taking pictures of her.
