You're a Super Star Photography

I apologize for the 2 bad photo links! It should be all set now. Please let me know if you can't view photos. Flickr made a change a few days ago and I can't say I'm all that happy with it. It doesn't make blog reading on phones very easy and my pages are very slow to load.

As I mentioned earlier, I didn't think I was going to be able to get that perfect picture for our holiday card.  I wasn't even aiming for a perfect picture; I just needed a picture, preferably with all three kids smiling at the camera.  And this was not what I had in mind.

Sharky, aka Allie, thought that smiling with an open mouth or squeezing her sisters' heads was funny.  So I sarcastically imitated her and said how I didn't think family and friends would appreciate seeing the inside of her mouth on our Christmas card, which caused a giggle fit.

Thank you very much.

After that torture session was over, the fun began.  Anna wanted a photo with her favorite buddy, Baby Zebe.

I thought there would have been more good shots of Allie, who likes to work the camera, but this was her best.  I think she was worn out from her earlier antics.

And then came Emily, who was extremely animated.

If all else fails, I suppose I can set up shop as a head shot photographer.

Semi-random but photography related - I had these two pictures printed on canvas for a Christmas present for Rich.

I couldn't believe how awesome they came out.  I used Canvas On Demand.  And because I'm a super star, I ordered a size that didn't fit the photos.  They emailed and corrected the problem for me with absolutely no hassle.  (Not sponsored, just a shout out.)

And OMG.  I usually don't ever check my stats on flickr.  I, unfortunately, mainly use flickr to host my photos and not for much else.  At most, a photo of mine may have a few hundred views.  When I went to grab that Christmas card photo of the girls, I noticed it had 28,000 views (yes, I almost fell off of the couch) and this one here has 38,000.

I would love to know how that happened.

There are two photos in this post that I do not see. Both have a Flickr page saying you do not have permission to view this photo.

Not sure why those two other photos would have so many views. The only time I used Flickr I had photos stolen.
