Santa without tears

Rich's side of the family is massive.  He has twelve siblings and twenty-something nieces and nephews. In order for everyone to celebrate the holiday together, they hold a party before (or sometimes right after) Christmas.  The party for this year was held this past weekend.  The girls absolutely love family parties because they can play with their cousins.

The girls have been afraid of Santa and I was going to skip the whole Santa thing this year because of it.  Santa was actually at the Disney parks when we were there but the lines were enormous.  Both Santa and Mrs. Claus were at Epcot and the line was at least an hour wait.  Yeah, no.  Imagine my surprise when Santa showed up at the party to hand out presents and the girls showed no fear.  Finally!

Shhh!  This little one may not be afraid of Santa because he's actually her grandfather.

So they also do the whole pinata thing for the little kids.  These pictures make me laugh, which is why I'm posting so many of them.

I love the dresses with the matching coral color...coordinated without being matchy-matchy. Such beautiful girls. Happy holidays to you and the family.

Happy holidays!

Those are the girls' dresses from their cousin's wedding back in September :)

I tried to curl Allie's and Em's hair with a curling iron and I failed. I think the barrel was too big but it really wasn't - it's only an inch, I think. I'll have to pick up a smaller one.

Your coordinated family looks so cute! Being one of 12 with a huge amount of nieces and nephews and growing, I know how much fun family gatherings can be. It's important for cousins to play and bond. So glad your family had fun!
