For the love of Pinterest

I finally joined Pinterest as I thought it would be a good place to organize my completed and future sewing projects and some photography stuff.  I don't know why I sometimes find simple internet/computer/technical tasks to be so complicated but I do.  Is this a sign of my age because I haven't always had issues.  Apparently, because the photos on my blog are hosted on flickr with a private account, I can't simply use my Pin It button.  I finally figured a way to work around it but what a time suck.

Here's how you can follow me.

(Be warned that there's not much up there now and it may take me some time to fill in the old stuff.)

Okay, so I have to add this story onto yesterday's post.  Tonight, Anna told us how she saw Claire, who was Allie's best friend last year, on the playground at school today.  Claire is in a full day class.  She hugged Anna, picked her up and exclaimed, "I've missed you so much!"

Me - "Did she know that you are Anna?"

Anna - "No, she thought I was Allie."

(Allie's class ran out of time and didn't participate in recess.)

And something else from tonight.  Emily was having trouble falling asleep.  She appeared at the top of the stairs twice.  The first time to tell me that she wants to sleep in our bed when we go to bed and what is taking us so long to eat dinner.  The second time, she says, "I just want a hug and a kiss."  It is impossible to be frustrated when a little kid says that they just want a hug and a kiss.

Just started following you on Pinterest :) I love that site. I spend way too much time on it!

I know what you mean about it being hard to be frustrated when your child says something so sweet. :)

I love that extra hug and kiss. My kids are 9 and 13! :)

aw, they're so sweet. M&L have had a hard time sleeping this week; calling me upstairs to snuggle "just a minute" with them. I know I shouldn't coddle them, but they're getting so big so fast I just want to hold on a little longer.

is the girls' kindergarten within the same school as their preschool? I am so loving these "identical triplets take different kindergarten classes" stories!!

I've been going thru that 'they are growing up so fast' thing lately.

Lily - It's a different school. Allie's friend is in full day kindergarten - the full day and half day sometimes have recess at the same time.
