A kid with a wig

If you're a parent, I'm sure this happens to you as often as it happens to me - one minute, your kid is about to send you over the edge and then, for no reason at all, she's this funny little person and you just want to laugh and laugh.

That would be Allie.  The wig belongs to Anna's Halloween costume while the sweatsuit was a gift from Grandma.  It's too big but Allie likes to wear it around the house.

More pictures from that evening.

Identical smiles on Allie and Emily.  Check out how they both stick their lower jaw out.

*  This post seems completely random to me but I'm just going to have to go with it.  I woke up with a sore neck a few days ago.  I was in so much pain that I almost called in sick to work.  It feels better but it is still a bit stiff.  I decided that the show must go on and continued cleaning today.  I'm on a quest to scrub down our house from top to bottom.  It's not going so well.  I clean one part of the house and a few weeks later, it needs cleaning again (no surprise with kids) but I'm still trying to clean something else.  The circle of life.  Or, in my case, a house full of kids.  My back had been feeling better (I have problems from my pregnancy with the girls) but tonight, not so much.  I'm off to see how much sleep I can get before a kid wakes me up and forces me to sleep in an awkward position.  Speaking of - I need to throw out that lumpy pillow in Allie's room.

I find dental genetics so interesting. I used to stick my lower jaw out too. :)
Hope your neck feels better!

Such pretty smiles! Emily looks just like your husband. Oh and Allie in the wig is hysterical! The second wig picture looks like she is busting out a rap song, haha!

If you can ever find a physical therapist (not a massage therapist, although some of them do it) that does myofascial release, and/or cranial sacral therapy, it will change your life. I have a herniated disc and was having pain so bad that I could barely walk. Now, I'm only in pain when I over do it. My friend's work is so amazing that I trade her babysitting every week for bodywork. It's the best barter ever, b/c not having a constant back pain...has saved my life.
