Well, almost done. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. If and when I ever do this again (and who am I kidding - I obviously thrive off of long to-do lists), I need to plan better. Grammy and I just starting sewing and we will have enough but some things aren't coordinated exactly the way they would be if I had planned. And there are bigger problems in the world than perfectly coordinated custom Disney outfits so I'm going to shut up about it now. The only reason why I mention it is that the girls are very much into wearing matching and/or coordinating outfits these days. And I am slightly obsessive compulsive.

So here's Anna modeling my first Simply Sweet.
I was not happy with how the top fit the girls at all. (But I love how Anna asks to model for me now.)
I altered the top part of the pattern for a better fit. This is Allie's crazy Animal Kingdom dress with an altered top. I left it a little bit roomy but the addition of the side ties helps hide that.
Emily's crazy a-zebra-is-eating-Minnie Animal Kingdom dress.
She is skinnier than Allie so I made sure that the top was not roomy.
Anna requested a zebra print dress and so that's what she's getting. I still need to sew the skirt to the top so no pictures yet.
Oh, crap. I have some pictures of the Belle dress but I haven't edited them. If you know me, you know I'll be taking a million pictures of the girls in action in Florida so all of the outfits will be featured in my trip report.
I can't believe that the girls start kindergarten in a few weeks. We haven't done any back to school shopping, which isn't really a big deal considering that it will still be hot/very warm when school starts. I need to go through and clean out their closets again.
When the season of sewing finally comes to an end, I have a to-do list a mile long. Cleaning and organizing is at the top of the list. I feel like we've been living in a perpetual state of "I need to clean/organize/decorate/purge." The girls are five years old and I still have containers of my pre-baby clothes stored in the basement. I've come to accept the fact that if it doesn't fit now, it never will.

I just left a comment but I think Blogger/Google 'ate' it...sorry if you get 2 comments from me.
I just wanted to say that I love the dresses - the girls look very cute. We're going to Disney soon, too, and it's been fun seeing you make the girls' dresses. I have a couple of handmade dresses that are from Etsy that I can't wait for our daughter, Zoe, to wear!
Have a great vacation!
Those dresses are adorable! My daughter would be insanely jealous for all of them! Good job!
So cute dresses and they are the best models ever!
I love the zebra-print dress and the model is gorgeous too :)
You did a great job on all the sewing!
Best models EVER!!! Love all the poses! :)
Those dresses are so cute, and your girls are beautiful.
The Ah, ba-buy picture is my favorite - so cute!
Anna is astonishing beautiful in this post. She looks radiant with her smile and her shinny eyes. All your girls are pretty, but she stands out in this particular set of photos. Looking forward to see her in the zebra print dress.
Also you made me smile, without knowing you, when you wrote that you are "slightly obsessive compulsive". To know oneself is the biggest challenge on one's life :)
Keep enjoying the moments and smiling as you could transmit in this post!
Pictures of Anna! It's a miracle! :-)
Love the dresses. I can't wait to see the Belle dress.
Super cute dresses!
Nice job on the dresses! I love seeing Anna posing!
Sweet dresses! I know a certain little girl who would die for the Ariel dress...if only I knew how to sew! lol
Just came across your blog from the top blogs list! :). Aside from the fact you have identical triplet girls, we have stuff in common! Ha. I'm due to have a baby girl in just under 4 weeks and I am a Photographer as well :). If you're interested in following back I would be grateful :) www.our-baby-blog.co.uk x
Cute dresses! She is a natural in front of the camera. Reminds me of my 2 year old daughter....
Thank you, everyone!
Wendy - maybe we'll see you there ;)
If you ever quit accounting, you could totally open an Etsy shop. Those dresses are adorable!
So cute!
Hello! Long time reader, first time commenting. We're planning a trip to Disney this fall with our daughter and I'd love to make her some dresses as well. Where do you find the cute Disney prints? Sadly, we recently moved away from the Boston area, but maybe it's an online vendor. Thanks!
PS - your girls are adorable!
Hi Nicole - All of the Disney prints came from Joann. I believe they are located across the US.
