Quarterly Top 5 Photos

Okay, I was a bit astounded (and embarrassed) to discover that my photo placed #1 in the I Heart Faces People's Choice. There were just so many amazing entries. If you voted for me, thank you. I truly appreciate your support.

I stumbled upon a fun photo thing today (don't worry, it's not a contest) and in the spirit of putting myself out there as a photographer, I thought I would participate. You basically post five favorite photos taken between July 1 and September 30 of your kids with a short description of why you chose those photos.

So here I go....

This photo simply melts my heart for obvious reasons.

This is my favorite portrait of Emily from this year. I feel like it captured the moment. (Sorry for the large size. I had to do it.)

This photo makes me smile and laugh.

Allie and Rich - a cute father/daughter moment.

Little Anna Bug. I love her little smile. She had just mastered swimming unassisted with her water wings and wanted me to take pictures of her doing so.

Oh my goodness, I can barely stand how cute these are.

First, I am glad you found us and linked up.
Second, you go girl! I am not sure how I would survive triplets, but you are doing it and it looks like you are having a blast.
Third, I am sharing your post on my FB page, because these photos are too cute not to share.
Fourth, I may also use one of them during my photo share and winner post on Thursday if you are okay with that.

Hey! I was wondering what lenses you would recommend for a Canon Rebel? I have agreed to do photos for a friend for her wedding and all I have is a 48mm. Thanks :)

Thanks, Pam.

K - I shoot Nikon so I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending lenses for a Canon.
