The great brownie bake-off

Well, I guess it was really just a normal brownie baking thing. Here are some pictures from last weekend when the girls helped Rich make brownies.

I have to mention that I'm such a party pooper. I love tasting the raw mix just as much as the next person but I don't want the girls eating raw eggs. As you can see from the pictures, they kept sticking their little fingers in the mixing bowl for a taste test. I told them that they could do so until Rich added the eggs but then they had to stop because I didn't want them eating raw eggs. Allie kept pointing in the bowl while asking, "Are those the rotten eggs?"

Hmmm. I hope that they're not rotten!

The egg thing cracks me up....I still to this day, my kids are 13,10 and 7, tell them if they eat any cookie dough, brownie mix or cake mix because of the egg they will get worms out of their butt! It makes me nervous having them eat that with raw egg. You're not the only one! :0) Thanks for your fun posts!
