Pumpkins with pumpkins

Well, I really did miss the opportunity for fall photos. There was white stuff on the ground this morning. The girls looked out the window and exclaimed, "Something looks different!" And then they came running into the bathroom yelling, "Mommy! Daddy! Come quickly. Something is different outside."

I took these photos a few weekends ago. I believe that they are the victims of the ISO Incident of October.

I had wanted the girls to sit in the yard. They refused. And it took much pleading and begging for them to sit on the same step together. You can't tell just by looking at these pictures though. Well, that's because there was a spider on my head.

Well, not really. That's what I told them to get a reaction. It worked.

And in an effort to appear in more photos with the girls, Rich took ahold of the camera.

A few items to note:
  1. I am not wearing any make-up. At all.
  2. I look exhausted.
  3. I had combed my hair at some point during the day. I think.

So Anna got all grumpy because she wanted to move the big pumpkin but couldn't. I decided that she needed bunny ears.

They will love having the pictures with you in them. The pictures are lovely. :)

I was going to ask how you get your girls to sit together. I have so few pictures of my 3 together. Someone is always running away or blinking or has all of their hair in their face or finger up the nose (sorry, gross, I know, but that is the new "thing" this month and it's driving me insane). I try candid shots, I don't want a "perfect" picture where they are all looking at the camera and smiling, I just want them all in the frame! I think I'll try bribing them with candy. Now that they know what it is, it might work in my favor.

Isn't it so hard to get a decent pic of yourself with your girls? My dad took a few last week - as long as you ignore the fact that I'd just had oral surgery and my cheek was hugely swollen and purple, it's a good pic. :-)
