Summer ended quite abruptly here this year. Although it wasn't exactly beach weather, we made one more trip over Labor Day weekend.
So until next year...
Goodbye to chasing seagulls across the sand. Sorry we scared you!
Goodbye to playing with Daddy in the sand and lugging bucket after bucket of water up the beach only to immediately dump it out upon reaching our destination.
Goodbye to running down to the waves with sissies.
Goodbye to searching for rocks and shells. Mostly rocks. To throw.
Goodbye to covering ourselves in mud. And filling our bathing suits with sand.
Goodbye, waves. Have a nice winter.

What great captions! And I'm still laughing about seeing Elmo swaddled from a couple of days ago...too funny! :)
Yay, that means summer is coming this way. You can have winter. I am done with it!
Great pics, as always.

That does read like a children's book! Great post, and love the pictures. I'm looking forward to seeing your fall shots though!
wow Sarah, these are really beautiful. They really would make a nice picture book for bed time.
Thanks, everyone. I was just going to post the pictures and as I was doing so, the commentary just came out.
