Outing #1 of the week

This past week, we brought the girls to see a theater production (musical) of Three Little Pigs starring.... Okay, it wasn't a Broadway production or anything like that but it was a pretty decent show and I was pleased with the girls' attention span. Later that evening, Allie was talking to us about the show and I couldn't believe some of the details she rememberd.

The game plan for the day had been to head over to Grammy and Papa's house after the show for a visit and lunch and then spend the afternoon at the beach. Well, it was raining in the morning and continued to downpour during the show. I didn't give up hope and while we were eating lunch, the sky started clearing so we were able to head down to the beach after all.

Here was my attempt at photographing the girls together after lunch.

They were more interested in the snails.

Anna was brave enough to touch them.

I love these photos for their "vintage" feel. The old house, the massive hydrangea bush, the overgrown greenery.

years down the road when allie is a bride you will have to pull these out - they look like a mini bouquet!
