Quote of the week

I had to manage part of the bed time process solo the other evening. I was fighting with one of the shades in Allie's room while listening to Em screaming in her room because she wanted me to stay in there all night with her. That shade would not stay down. We purchased room darkening shades (think of old school shades) because they were the most cost efficient version we could find.

So as I was wrestling with the shade, Allie was waiting patiently for me to read a story to her. She asked me what I was doing and I replied with, "I'm trying to get this freaking thing to stay put."

Allie looked at me with a look only a three year old can give and said, "That's not a freaking thing. That's a window!"

Working on birthday posts and pictures. Stay tuned....

You've got to love three year olds. I hear ya, bed time without daddy's help is crazy hard, especially when you have three.

Take care,

Nicole

Better than the word Allie repeated after me last week during a moment of my frustration.
