Anna did not nap during quiet time Sunday afternoon. Allie and Em did. For about an hour. Until Anna woke them up. So needless to say, Anna was exhausted come bed time Sunday night. As I was trying to settle her in her bed that night, Allie said good night to her before running back into her room. Em insisted on climbing up into Anna's bed, rubbing her back and kissing her on the top of her head. {I know. So cute.}
Anna fell asleep in about two minutes.
I had already read some books to Allie and as I finished reading to Em, she told me that she wanted to say good night to Allie and Anna. I told her that we had to whisper because Anna was already asleep. I carried her into Allie's room, where we found Allie half asleep snuggled under her owl blanket. Em whispered, "Good night, Allie." Allie smiled and whispered back, "Good night, Em-o-ee." {I know. So cute.}
They are so lucky to have this special bond.

Ah, so cute! I feel the same way about my girls. As much as they pull hair, bite each other, and fight over toys... there is no one in the world like their "sis-tur". They are the best of friends. Our girls are all so lucky! :)
I have a very special bond with my sisters - but we definitely didn't always get along - middle school and high school years were rough on my mom I think.
Aw, so sweet!
You are so right, they have the closest bond in the world. And my goodness, I say it all the time, but could they be any cuter? Love their outfits.
Oh, and Charlotte (3 1/2) still says "Em E Lee" for Emily. Emphasis on the E.
so cute! did you get them to be this close or are they just like this? i hope that someday when i have kids they'll be as close as them
Bella - they are just like that on their own.
