And then there were two

I have a lot to post about and a million pictures to go through and edit. I will probably have to spend this week doing so as there is no way for me to get through it all in one day. This has been a busy, tiring weekend for us. The girls are finally on their way back to being healthy and wouldn't you know that Anna's molars have decided to make an appearance. Perfect timing. I believe Allie's are coming in as well but she won't let me look in her mouth. I have spent the past two days being followed by three toddlers begging for me to hold them.

All three slept in their beds last night. ALL NIGHT. Talk about a miracle. There was some whining at 5:05 AM, 6:37 AM, 7:16 AM and then at 8:01, three toddlers stormed into our room and asked if we were "sweeping." It appears that Rich, Grammy and I have all picked up some form of the cold that the girls had. And of course, I have it pretty bad right now.

The girls did not nap at all today. Em and Anna had very short naps yesterday. Rich has been working hard all this week to move everything out of our office so that we can transform it into Emily's room. This afternoon after the girls' non-nap, Rich moved Emily's bed into her new room. Now, my original plan was to have all the rooms fully decorated and we would just move the beds one afternoon. Yeah, their rooms might be decorated by June. That's my goal.

So when Rich came back downstairs and announced that Em had her own room, Em asked to see it. We all climbed upstairs to check it out. Em looked so happy and excited. Allie, who wasn't in the best mood to begin with, kept asking where her bed was. I don't think she understood the concept of sleeping in different rooms. We brought Anna and Allie to their room to show them that their beds were still there. Anna was all confused because her bed is now where Em's bed used to be.

Tonight was interesting. Allie was exhausted so she finally settled in her bed. I would get Anna in her bed and then go to Em's room to get her in her bed. Anna would jump out and come running into Em's room. And then Em would climb out of her bed when I tried to settle Anna in her bed. It took over an hour and a half before all three were finally asleep. We did try leaving them alone a few times but they just ran around.

I hope to post some more pictures this week including some from Allie's princess photo shoot from yesterday. I have started experimenting with "tubby tub" pictures after I realized that we really don't have any. Here is one of my favorites.

Please keep us updated on how this whole separating just one out thing goes. We only have a 3 bedroom house, so if we separated one would be by himself.
