My writing. And a vote?

I've always been an avid reader and at some point, I became a writer. I've always enjoyed writing - it's a creative outlet for me that comes easily. This blog allows me to write while documenting memories for all to enjoy for years to come.

I know that I'll never be able to write professionally so when How Do You Do It?, a blog for parents of multiples posted that they were looking for new contributors, I left a comment saying that I would be interested. That blog is now holding a contest - the winners will be new contributors/authors on that blog. If you know me well, you know that I don't like nor do I enter into internet contests as they mostly turn into how people do you know online who will vote for you. This contest did require us to submit an entry. I know I'm not the greatest of authors and I hope I'm not embarrassing myself by thinking I even have a chance.

Click here for a direct link to my entry, which is featured today June 2nd along with a few others. I would appreciate a vote from my readers. Of course, there's a funny little tidbit in there about an alarm clock going off at 6:00 AM in the girls' room. Well, I can laugh at it now. It wasn't that amusing when it happened.

Thanks! You have until the end of this week to vote so if you are reading this after Tuesday, it is not too late.

Fantastic story, I voted!

I nanny for twins, they're 4.5 and just spent their first night in their own rooms two days ago (I've yet to see them since before the switch though, so I'm not sure how they're doing).
