The best part of having a "Grammy nanny" is that she emails great pictures of the girls to me while I'm at work.
(Scary how much Em and Allie look alike in this picture. Scary!)
Grammy also keeps me informed of current goings-on in the neighborhood. For example, I thought she was going to tell me that our neighbor was pregnant when I opened an email from her the other day entitled "Latest Addition to Neighborhood." Instead, the email informed me that the construction site that is our other neighbors' yard now includes a PortaPotty. Excellent. Thank goodness it's not near our yard.
In all seriousness, I don't know what we would do without Grammy. She's been helping with these three munchkins since day one. Actually, before day one. She did almost burn down our home the day that I came home from the hospital with Allie and Em (I have to remind her of that on occasion.) but she didn't and almosts don't count. Right? So with Mother's Day approaching, I want to send a special shout out to Grammy for all her hard work and love. If only all mommas could be as lucky as I am.
Grammy keeps threatening to start a blog of her own. I told her that she should with all of her spare time. I mean, come on, what does she do all day?
