Let's talk about yesterday.

The girls were an absolute cranky, fussy, I-need-sleep mess yesterday. They were up early both Saturday and Sunday mornings (6 something-ish) and missed their nap on Saturday for the birthday party. To make matters difficult, I woke up with a headache yesterday and felt as if my head was in a fog. There was supposed to be a neighborhood yard sale Sunday morning through early afternoon.

Rich set up our two mangy tables with the few items he dug up in the basement. We really didn't have much to sell at all. Rich had pulled the Choo Choo Wagon into the front yard so that we could load the girls up into it. I told him that we better get some toddlers in there before someone tries to buy it.

Allie - smiles

Anna - teething

Em (and Lion) - exhausted

I decided to supervise backyard play time. This is when the girls really stepped up their crying for no reason. A few times I just sat there defeated as they screamed because really, what can I do when someone is crying because someone else is touching their toy or slide or swing or outdoor baby shopping cart. I felt bad because our neighbor, who was selling all of her baby loot, kept running over to see if I needed help. "Nope," I said, "When you have triplets, someone is always crying about something."

Oh, yes, I so remember that stage. It totally ends. I promise. Now they just argue all the time, but at least nobody is SCREAMING. Uhg that drove me to drink.
