Monday Update & Snow!

This is what we woke up to yesterday morning...

The first snowfall of the season. It was short lived though. Total accumulation was about an inch. I actually don't mind the snow if I don't have to leave the house.

I'm on vacation this week (yippee!) and was able to hang out with the girls today. I gave them sippies of juice shortly after they were up from napping. I was trying to clean up some in the kitchen and realized that they were being VERY quiet. Too quiet. I looked in to find this:

They were just hanging out together drinking their juice. Anna (in the green), Em and Allie. And yes, Em is holding a clean diaper. She's been doing this thing lately where she wants to walk around holding a diaper. Oh, well.

Anna seems to be improving. I thought I would quote some of the instructions we were given for her care after the hernia repair. They are quite amusing.

  • Your child should rest quietly for the next 24 hours. (Does this include WHILE at the hospital sharing a room with the television on full blast almost ALL the time?)
  • No strenuous activity such as bike riding, gymnastics, contact sports or martial arts. (Hmmmmm. She's 19 months old!)

Okay, moving along to some more pictures. Here is Grammy making Allie cry by forcing her to try on a new outfit. She looks adorable even when crying. Again, let us note that Grammy is behind the crying.

Well, Anna decided that she would wear the headband. Look at how cute she is! She does still look really tired though.

And guess what? All of a sudden Allie thinks that it's fun to wear the headband. At this point, she was back in her jammies.

Do you think I can get all three to wear the new outfits WITH the headbands at the same time without crying?

Good luck with that! LOL! You can't fault them for having their own fashion sense. LOL! Mine are 18 months old too and it seems like everytime I put something in their hair someone else pulls it out. Oh Well!
