Let it snow, let me leave work early and other random Friday stuff.

The Big Snow Storm is here. It was slated to begin at noon with heavier snow moving in around 2:00. Work had planned an HR-type meeting that was supposed to last from noon to 5:00. I didn't think I was EVER going to make it home. Thankfully, we only had one half of the HR-type meeting and I was able to catch the same early train home that Rich was on.

Here's what the view outside our front door looked like around 4:45 tonight:

And it's a good thing tonight was bath night because Allie decided to style her hair with milk at dinner.

Now for a guest blogger - Grammy. Here's what Grammy had to say about this afternoon:
Three little girls go down for their nap at 12:35 p.m. Three little girls giggle and play for a very long time. The last little girl finally goes to sleep at 2:10. Last word heard was "happy." (Anna) Now it is 2:20 p.m. and Neighbor decides it is time to test his snow blower. Now one little girl can be heard. Hummmmm, I wonder how long it will be until they are all awake again.

Last part of the post - we DO have a tree this year. Surprisingly, the girls haven't tried to harm it. I'll post more pictures later but here's one of Allie checking out the lights.

Oh I wish it snowed where I lived. I have only seen snow once, and I was about 7 years old and it had melted by the following day!
