Anyone else dreaming of tropical weather? It was zero degrees this morning so thoughts of Hawaii have been floating around in my mind. We had another snowstorm blow through here Tuesday night, which meant school was canceled on Wednesday, which meant that Anna's IEP meeting was canceled, which meant that my work schedule was messed up. Oh, well. Not really a big deal.
We ended up with approximately a foot of snow, which made the world look pretty.
So last week, I arrived home from work at 8:00 one night and then it was 9:00 the other nights. I was able to be at home on Friday but then I had to work a full day on Saturday and all day Monday, which was a US holiday. I haven't been working late this week but my day at home has been uncertain and I think now, moved to next week. I'm tired and craving some Vitamin D.

Time for another Disney trip! We live in FL & it's in the 40s here lately. Some days get in the 60s. It rarely gets below the high 30s ever. Lately has been pretty consistently chilly though. I wouldn't last a week in the snow and ice- I saw snow once when I was 3. I give you a lot of credit because I don't know how you get around in the freezing temperatures and snow. People here bust out their boots anytime it gets below 70 & some even wear uggs with shorts.
I live in the middle of nowhere Tennessee. They keep canceling school because it is so cold and windy here. (They are worried about kids getting frost bite.) The actually had 2 pipes freeze at the local high school. Did $50,000+ worth of damage. It is something that they have never had happen at any of the schools here. Crazy, cold winter...
Quick question. I work at Make-A-Wish Headquarters. Have you ever considered applying for a wish for Anna?
Anna's condition isn't considered to be life-threatening, so no, Make A Wish has never been thought of.
