Sorry for the radio silence this week. Emily's had difficulty in recovering from this stomach virus that Allie had last week. After throwing up on and off for almost 48 hours, she was prescribed Zofran. She had to miss four days of school this week and still isn't back to her normal self.
I left work early on Wednesday because I wasn't feeling well and it wasn't getting any better. Thank goodness I left when I did or I would have been trying to figure out how to not puke on the train. Fortunately, this isn't nearly as debilitating as the norovirus we all had back in February but come on! Emily, Allie and I had just recovered from a never-ending cold. Enough is enough!
Running has obviously come to standstill until I can actually eat and stop feeling sick. I'm not so sure now that my knee area pain is running related. It was feeling better on Tuesday but now, today, it has been extremely painful, which makes no sense because I haven't run since Sunday. I'll have to see what happens over the weekend but I'm wondering if I twisted it or something. All I know is that I feel OLD.
If you were looking for the exif data on the photos from my photography post earlier in the week, I finally updated that tonight.
And a big, huge THANK YOU for all the votes. You all are always so supportive. I truly appreciate it.
I hope to be back over the weekend with a normal post. Until then, if you want something to read, Rich has a few heartfelt posts related to the marathon.
