The girls made these little flags at school. Well, Anna claims that she made one but it wasn't in her backpack and I don't know if I can believe the story that it was still "drying."
New hairstyle - headband over beret. (Emily)

The girls stayed up a little bit late and watched some of the game, which I find hysterical. They were actually watching it and asking questions. And cheering! I don't know if Emily made this up on her own or not but she was yelling, "Go, Patriots, go! You can do it - there's nothing to it!"
And then Rich informed me that Allie told him how she wants to be a cheerleader. Ahhhhh. I was a cheerleader in high school and before you judge, I'll just say that we weren't the popular girls and we didn't date football players. I had always wanted to be in some type of dance program and this was as close as I was going to get to that. I have a friend whose daughter is involved in competitive cheering and she tells me that some of the stunts we performed back in high school are now "illegal" and not allowed in competitions. And I know why - some of them were pretty freaking scary.
Okay, we'll cross that bridge if and when we ever get to it.
Rich and I enjoyed some yummy dips for dinner and I annoyed him by talking when he was trying to watch the game. (haha)
(I'm trying to practice my food photography.)

What are the ingredients in the second dip? It looks delicious!!! Is the first one a buffalo chicken dip?
I also want the scoop on the second dip!
The first dip is buffalo chix. The second one is a avocado bean dip (recipe from my friend, Tina) - 2 avocados, 1 red bell pepper, 6 green onions, 3 cloves garlic, 2 tablespoons cilantro, 1 can corn, 1 can black beans, 2 tablespoons lime juice, 1/4 cup olive oil, 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar, salt and pepper as needed. YUM.
