Rich flicked on HGTV for me tonight and Selling Spelling Manor is on right now. O.M.G. I can't stop watching it. Her closet is bigger than the first floor of our house! And I am drooling over her gift wrapping room. Not for gift wrapping but imagine having that space for a sewing room. Gah!
The first significant snowfall of the season, excluding that freak pre-Halloween storm, occurred overnight. The girls were extremely excited to find snow this morning and pulled out their winter boots in anticipation of playing outside. After the snow in October, I realized that I needed to buy the girls snow gear in bigger sizes but because we haven't had any snow at all, it sort of slipped my mind. So apparently, we only have two pairs of snow boots and the girls' snow overalls are size 24 months. (Girls, Mommy is sorry that she made you wear too small snow pants this winter.)
I really dislike winter. I think I would be able to tolerate it if it was only for a month or so. With each year, the cold seems colder. We are stuck inside. The sun is so low in the sky and it always seems dark outside. Blah.
Cleaning and organizing continues this weekend. I really want to work on a sewing project but I refuse to do so until this house is how it should be.

We're in Michigan and just got a pile of the white stuff. Looking forward to getting my little girl out there! Speaking of - where the heck did I leave her boots?!
I watched it until I fell asleep, too!! That family is crazy with there money, not that I wouldn't love it! But also, how does a 22 year old heiress buy there $100+ million home? I'm 30 and live in a house built in the 1800's! what the heck?? :)
I hate winter too and we don't get it near as bad as you do. I feel very lucky to be enjoying the summer time now, but I know winter will be here again soon. At least then, you'll be enjoying summer!
