So tired...

I remember lazy Sundays before children, before Rich, spent watching movies from the comfort of my couch. Now, I feel like I never really sit down. I can't. And it is exhausting. There shall come a time in the future when I will be able to sit on the couch and watch a movie. I really don't want to wish time away. Maybe I just need a break. A vacation. {snort}

A weekend update will have to come later as I am exhausted and need to head off to bed after some ice cream. Columbus Day is not a holiday for me. {sob}

I snuck in a few minutes here, a few minutes there, and finished that Halloween themed dress for Anna. I've started cutting out the fabric for Allie's skirt, which is going to be quite the project. I created a pattern for a ruffle-twirl skirt and it needs many, many strips of fabric.

I plan on posting pictures of my sewing projects and I thought it would be fun (probably dorky) to do so under a (fake) store name. Tonight, I asked the girls to pretend that we have a store that sells these Halloween clothes and to create that store's name. Allie responded with, "I think we should call it Strawberry."

Me - "How about Strawberry Boutique - clothes for girls?"

Allie - "Strawberry Boutique Girls."

Me - "Strawberry Boutique Girls?"

Allie - "Yes."

Emily's answer was by far the best. "I wouldn't have a store. I would have a restaurant and it would be called McDonalds. That's because I really like McDonald's." {crying}

That's just it, isn't it? I only have one and I work and my husband works tons of hours. On Sundays, I do not sit down. Ever.

I think I need a wife.

I'm laughing at the McD's comment. I love how little kids brains work. I hear you about wanting a break, but wanting them to stay little.
