So one night last week, after Allie announced that she wanted to be a mommy, I exclaimed, "Oh, Allie. That is just fantastic because then I will be a grammy!"
Allie became quiet. "No. I'm not going to be a mommy." I was puzzled and Allie continued with, "I don't want you to be a grammy."
"What do you mean, Allie? I will still be me."
"Will you look the same?" She wanted to cry. She was fighting those tears.
"Yes, of course I will look the same." She didn't seem convinced.
The situation was slightly improving, especially after she studied the other choices on the pages of the book and didn't seem to be too enthralled with any of them. And then she asked, "Will they have to cut me open to get the babies out? I don't want them to cut me open."
Okay, so maybe that detail of their birth story should have been, ah, altered.

Apparently I missed the memo that voting was reset over at Top Baby Blogs so I am here to ask you for a vote because I am currently sitting at #65. You know the drill - one vote per 24 hours. No registering required - just click on the banner below and then click on the first owl.
You all have been so awesome in voting for me. I came in third with the Circle of Moms thing and I was third over at TBB until the reset. Thank you for your support!
