Then and now. Four years.

Then. April 11, 2007.

Now. April 17, 2011.

You know me. I feel the need to discuss.

1. Rich doesn't normally look like that but he was cool with me posting that picture. He must have been caught in an eye blink.

2. The last few months of my pregnancy I only had two or three pairs of pants that fit. They were stretchy velour maternity ones from Target in size L and XL. As you can see, even if I pulled them over my tummy, they wouldn't stay. I wore my maternity tops from when I was pregnant with Abbey. I usually walked around the house with a bare belly because my tops wouldn't fit over my tummy. Plus, I was usually hot.

3. I was going to complain about my double chin in the now picture until I saw my exhausted pregnant chubby no make-up face in the first picture. (As you can guess, I did not wear make-up to my c-section either.)

4. So I think I had a good idea for then and now pictures but unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of me with my hands on the front of my tummy because I had to hold it up when I was standing or walking. The now picture would have been better if Rich was on the other side of the girls. I didn't have time to set up the tripod, etc. It's a start!

oh my, three kiddos in one tummy is a lot to carry! i wonder how big i would have gotten if i carried my triplets to birth (i delivered healthy twins)...

just wondering: have you had the girls' 4-year check-up yet? curious on their stats now, if that's all right :)

An amazing thing...a woman's body & it's ability to grow & nurture three beautiful babies! That was one big tummy but you were only all belly! & three years later you look great!

The girls are just so precious! They crack me up in all of their great dress up clothes!

Wow, love these pics. I wish I had taken some at the end of my pregnancy but I wasn't having it... at the hospital, my husband finally managed to snap one of me in the bed hooked up to monitors, etc. It would have been nice to have a standing shot of my enormity so I could share it with the girls at some point. Oh well.

What a fun idea for a post! I always find it hard to believe that my little guy ever fit inside of me; I can imagine that the older they get the harder it becomes to believe.

Such beautiful pictures. The body is so amazing that we can grow babies, many babies at that. I remember feeling so big with my twins and not wanting to take pictures, but I am so glad I did. That pregnant picture of you and Rich is to be cherished. And your girls are now 4! What an awesome pose. What a beautiful family :)

Oh my, that was big and indeed it looks as though it will fall forward if you don't hold it up! I feel very humbled with my twin belly pics :)
