That's fun! Can I ask what you are driving to Michigan for? (I"m curious as I currently live in Michigan...)

Jen - I have family in MI. My maternal grandparents, an uncle, an aunt, a cousin, (and more). Unfortunately, I haven't been out there since the girls were born.

The more I read, the more I realised all of these were true! Just sounded like you to me. Funny how much you think you can "know" a person just from blogging!

I liked that too! You seem to be the best accountant ever, hehe, I am in real need of a good one, it is a pity you can't work in Brazil :P

I also pierced my ears with a needle at 14. Turned 30 this month and have never colored my hair, with the drawback that being a brunette, the whites reeeeally show, but I am enjoying not being tied up to monthly salon appts. while I still can!

Do go to Europe when you can...it is so beautiful and we learn so much. FOr me, being in the US was so enlightening, because we live here with the constant presence of American influences in media and a whole lot of other things, but living with those in their original context gave me a whole new perspective, being able to see the people for whom these things are originally intended. It must be similar for Americans in Europe in a way.

I thought at first it said you'd picked your ears with a needle.

And I'm not sure how a few posts back you could've said you don't look fantastic, when you are in a size 2. Wrinkly in the abdomen, maybe, but still. . .

I also had dreams of being a librarian when I was little. I made a card catalog for my books. Yes dorky- I know! Now I`m a teacher so at least I`m teaching others to love books. close enough :)

You need to come to Europe one day! I'm from London and its a great place to start. Lots of free things to do for kids and you don't need a car to get around. From there you can explore Europe really easily too! I love your blog, it is a welcome distraction from studying. Take care :)
