I remember my mom letting me have a band-aid one time, just for show, when I was about 3. I was so proud. Of course what I don't remember are likely the 1,000 such requests that followed. :) And if she did threaten me with going to the doctor, it didn't apparently scar me.
I remember this stage with my oldest and am entering it with one of my little ones...every ouch, regardless of severity, requires a band aid. If there is the slightest scratch or mark on the skin...band aid, please. It's pretty funny but I remember how many boxes we went through with K - multiply that by 2 and we are in trouble. I am borrowing your doctor line. Maybe that will head it off :)
We go through MANY boxes of Elmo and Dora bandaids a month (at I just have two kids)...but at least, at this age, most things are fixed with a bandaid and a hug.
I enjoy your blog. Beautiful girls and beautiful photos!
Can I ask, where on Earth did you find the paint with water books? I can't find them anywhere! This would be perfect, as we have lots of plane and driving time in the Lower 48 this summer.
Thanks everyone - glad to know that my kids are "normal" with respect to band-aids.
The paint with water books - my grandmother gave us at least one that she picked up a at a garage sale and I believe the others (from my SIL) were from Michael's - it's a crafty store.

You lie to your girls a lot. Does it ever come back to haunt you?
Yes, it does.
Don't worry, I would have told her the same. Two or three band-aid requests might be cute, but there is a time when it just gets on your nerves...
Ha! I think that is hilarious!
I tell my daughter the same thing. If she is that hurt maybe she needs to go get another tetuns! :o) cute pictures
Great answer! HA!!!
