My attempt at a Valentine's Day photo shoot with the girls did not turn out quite as I had hoped it would. I was envisioning three happy toddlers sitting nicely next to each other, smiling and hugging.
Yeah. Not so much. (Please excuse the fact that Allie and Em's faces are slight out of focus.)
It takes a little bit of time to set up the backdrop. That is a blanket from our bed which I drape over propped up couch cushions. And then I have to drag out the plexiglass and try to smooth out the blanket under it. It can be a bit of a task with toddlers running back and forth on top of the plexiglass as I am trying to position it.
The girls were coloring in the dining room and kitchen area so I tried to set up as quickly as possible before they could realize what I was doing. They were in good moods as well so I was rushing, dreaming of that perfect picture. And then Allie bit Anna in the arm. Hence the crying.
She did eventually calm down enough to participate. Now, another issue is the fact that the girls think that the backdrop is just a new play area. They drag toys and stickers and everything else on top of it and start playing.
Here are some individual pictures of Allie...
And then there was Emily who decided to really get into the posing, which was fine with me.
And finally Anna, happy again. (Ignore the missed editing of the wrinkles, please.)
