A very special video

Those of you who have been following my blog for awhile may remember that Allie and Emily were discharged from the hospital with me after our four day stay. The only time that all three girls were together was in the operating room after their delivery. We were able to see and talk to Anna before she was brought down the NICU to be prepared for surgery. Allie and Em were together during most of their hospital stay but, unfortunately, it was too difficult for us to bring them to the NICU to visit Anna.

We were released from the hospital on Monday and five days later, we returned as a family (also with Grammy and Papa) to visit Anna in the NICU. Rich has a video clip from that visit over on his blog today. Click here for a direct link.

That bandage on Anna's head is from her shunt surgery. My little sweetie.

Please notice how big the girls are. They were about nine days old. I still can't believe that they were all inside of me. I was stretched to the point of no return and it was well worth it.

They are so adorable and so tiny - one forgets how small newborns are.

That made me so teary. They are so precious. They still look so similar. I missed the posts below about the zoo and the princess but those were great shots too. I like the toile chair :)

The girls are adorable... I am amazed at how great you look at only 9 days post-delivery. I looked like I was 7 months pregnant after giving birth to a singleton... You look great.
