These are from last weekend. I brought my kids and my brother's three kids seaside to explore. The sky was clearing after a morning and early afternoon of rain. We visited one beach and then I drove to another because I wanted to walk and photograph some cottages. It's amazing how quickly that fog rolled in. I'll have a cottage update soon. Maybe tomorrow.
I visited Boston last weekend! We went to Marblehead and various other beach towns instead of the Cape because I also wanted to go to Salem (tourist trap?) and Concord (glorious). GAH Marblehead blew my mind. It was just so gorgeous I didn't know what to do. If the Cape is anything like that, I can see why you love it so much.
I was also so surprised at the difference in smell between Northeastern beaches and Southeastern beaches (where I grew up). Your northern ones smell must fresher, I must say.
I was just about to leave the exact same comment as Tracey ^ haha. But it's true!! My employee is from Cape Cod and I wonder if she'd recognize where these are on the Cape.

Marblehead is beautiful. We have family friends who live in a historic homes there.
Cape Cod is a great place to visit! Those cottages were on a private beach. No fences so I didn't think anyone would mind us taking a walk.
