Easter

Tonight Emily told me that kids at school were talking about the toys the Easter Bunny had left for them and she didn't understand why the Easter Bunny was leaving toys, like toys one would receive at Christmas.  I didn't really have a good explanation for that except that sometimes parents leave things in addition to what the Easter Bunny leaves.  (Shhhhhh . . . that will be our little secret.)  At our house, the Easter Bunny leaves some candy.  Only organic and vegan, of course.  (Just kidding, just kidding.)  He also left those pens with different colored ink and books.

Allie was a bit terrified that a rabbit (most likely she imagined one from the mall, which she knows is a person in a costume) would be hopping around the inside of our home.  I told her he wouldn't come upstairs.  She told me that she was afraid that she would get up to use the bathroom and as she was walking down the hall, she would glance down the stairs and he would be hopping by the bottom of the stairs and then he would turn his head and see her and come up the stairs.
