At the same time

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I can't imagine the girls not as triplets. The bond that they share is so special and unique. They are connected in a way that is just mind blowing to witness. Their love for each other is so apparent and obvious.

I don't write this with a light heart as I fully understand how lucky my girls were to escape major prematurity issues. I know that they are a very special gift and what they have given to us is immeasurable. Rich and I are so very lucky to have them here with us.

Examples of their bond:

One morning last week, Allie was standing in the family room crying as Rich and I left for work. Em walked up next to her, rubbed her back and then put an arm around her.

When it's time to eat or go upstairs to bed, they ALL have to go together. I frequently hear, "Come on, Anna. Come, on Emmy. Time to eat." Or, "Come on. Move it," when one is lagging behind. And I have NO idea where they learned the term "move it."

Em was having some tummy issues early one morning last weekend. I took her out of her crib and brought her to bed with me while Rich calmed Anna and Allie back to sleep. Em had almost fallen back asleep when I moved her, telling her that we needed to make room for Daddy. She responded with, "Where's Daddy?" From down the hall behind closed doors, I hear Anna announce, "I hear Emmy talking." Of course, Em now has to respond back with, "I hear Anna."

Off-topic (slightly):

Rich has some clips up on his blog of the girls.

I'm amazed you got all three of them sitting and smiling at the same time. That hasn't happened to us in a long time.

Such a precious picture of your precious 3! I too love that bond. Earlier this morning Jackson and Chase were playing together and Chase said "kiss" and he and Jackson kissed each others' noses. Love it!

Your girls are so adorable! I hope you don't mind, I added you to my google reader. I can't get enough of the cuteness :)

Now, why can't I get Jax and Joss to both smile and look at the camera at the same time? What is your secret?!?!
